THE WONDER OF CREATION

I wonder as I watch the news read the reports
millions of words going around the globe
the human mind absorbs it all

Mankind created in Your image
bestowed with abilities beyond imagination

I wish we all could be as one
in harmonious harmony with the Father Spirit and Son

Children of the most High caring loving and kind
humans the crown of Your creation

From sunrise to sunset spreading the fragrance of Your Love
faces smiling laughter people rejoicing everywhere
this is how it was meant to be

I wonder as I watch the clouds go by
sailing on the clear blue sky
driven by the wind unseen

Birds and flowers trees and butterflies
Lord how marvelous You are
how glorious all that You have made

Yet impending doom awaits it all
as so many deliberately remain in their fallen nature
humanity on its way to a desolate fate

Lord how sad to see children dying
Hunger war disease cruelty wrecking lives each day

I wonder how you feel tonight
watching it all go by heaven’s screen
it must hurt You more than anyone else

I wish I could hold You in my arms
kiss Your tears away
I guess I would not know just what to say

Father God I pray that Your Kingdom will come
sooner than You have planned it
You’ll dry the tears
annihilating destruction death and sorrow

Yet while we wait give us the strength we need
to keep sowing the seed of compassion
creating Your kingdom inside the human heart
until You materialize the glorious new Tomorrow
