CLOWNING WITH CLONES

Chapter 1 | 2 |

Introduction

Human intellect has increased during the last years. Scientists have made some amazing discoveries. One of them is cloning.

What is cloning? Cloning is the creation of an organism that is an exact genetic copy of another. The DNA, genetic code, is the same! Every person has a different genetic code but clones have one and the same.

Nature has done some cloning on it's own for many years now.
Identical twins that were created naturally are really clones too.
They came from the same fertilized egg (Zygote) and carry the same DNA.

Identical twins are also made outside of a mother's womb, through artificial embryo twinning. An early embryo is manually separated into individual cells, and then the cells are allowed to develop on their own.
The resulting embryos are placed in a surrogate mother.

Cloning as it has been done with Dolly the sheep, differs from artificial embryo twinning and natural embryo twinning. There is no sperm cell needed to fertilize the egg cell, like in the two other cases.

Any cell in the body other than the sperm and egg cell, has two complete sets of chromosomes, whereas the sperm and egg cells only have one complete set.
If a sperm cell fertilizes an egg cell, the fertilized egg cell becomes like the other cells containing also two sets of chromosomes.
The father's chromosomes are joined with the mother's, so you can have your father's nose and your mother's eyes for example. This way every human being is unique.

Cloning is done by taking any cell (containing two strings of chromosomes) other than the egg and sperm cell and removing from that cell the DNA.
The DNA from that cell is placed into an egg cell from which the one string of chromosomes has been removed.
The egg cell with its new DNA starts to behave like a fertilized egg cell and develops into an embryo which then is placed in a surrogate mother.
The child that is born is an exact duplicate of the person who's DNA has been used. There are many risks to this method though and scientists are still doing a lot of research. (The information above, on cloning, is a summary I made of the information I found on the Internet.)

Does God agree with this new method of multiplying the world with human beings?
Does the bible say anything on how fertilization of an egg cell should take place?

I believe it does. Let's take a scientific trip through the books of the bible. Boring? Not at all! Just hold my hand I'll show you how exciting things can be when you're around me. I'll show you what God has revealed to me!

Chapter 1              Cloning and the Bible [back to top]

“Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness , and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." Genesis1:26

“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him ;male and female he created them.” Genesis 1:27

“God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground." Genesis 1:28

The first man, Adam, and the first woman, Eve, were exact representations of the image of God.
Not physically, but spiritually and emotionally.
God breathed His breath of life, His Spirit into Adam.
He was given life eternally.

“The LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.” Genesis 2:7

Eve was made from Adams rib that was taken out of his side. She was made out of Adams DNA physically, but spiritually and emotionally she inherited Gods image also. She was not made in Adams image, but in Gods. Genesis 1: 27 clearly states this.
So in a way it was like cloning spiritual and emotional twins.

Adam and Eve had to rule over Gods creation on earth, just like He rules the universe.

“ So the LORD God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man's ribs and closed up the place with flesh. Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.” Genesis 2:21-22

Amazing isn't it? Are you still holding my hand? I told you it would be exciting!God actually cloned himself. Awesome!

I believe that only God has the right to clone and make people like He is.
Each individual however should be different from another, that's why the egg cell and the sperm cell both contain only one string of chromosomes, so different pairs can be made with each fertilized egg cell.
If God wanted it otherwise he would have made it differently. But He looked at creation and approved of it.

“God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning-the sixth day.” Genesis 1:31

So there you have it, cloning actually took place in the bible. But it's something only God is allowed to do.
When people clone, they are actually repeating the words God spoke: "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness.”

They are trying to be like God and trying to find a way to be immortal.
Adam and Eve were banned from the garden so they would not eat from the tree of eternal life and live forever in a sinful state of mind.

By letting their image live forth in another person people are reaching for eternal life. They are climbing up a ladder to God.
Now doesn't this sound familiar?

In the old days men started to build the tower of Babel to reach the heavens of God in order to make themselves a name.

“Then they said, "Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves and not be scattered over the face of the whole earth.” Genesis 11:4

Likewise the real idea behind cloning is not for medical benefit but for establishing man's name eternally. The person behind the scene is the devil who has tried to set his throne above Gods throne even before mankind was created.
He fights his battles through mankind and tries to fulfill his plans through them.

Chapter 2              Several ways to be born  [back to top]

“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:  Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God .” John 1:12-13 (King James version)

“Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God . John 1:12-13 (New International version)

 The Lord Jesus shows us three ways a person can be born on earth;
Born of blood, the will of the flesh and the will of a man.

Born of blood or born out of natural descent is the regular way.
People get married have intercourse and start a family bloodline.

The will of the flesh; to me this resembles birth as a result of passion outside of a marriage covenant.
The natural bloodline of the family is not continued the right way.

The will of a man: This resembles cloning and artificial fertilization of the egg cell.

Jesus already knew what scientist would discover many years later.
He knows the plans of the evil one. But He has already made a way for us to achieve eternal life.
We do not need to clone ourselves or to transfer our brains into another healthy body in order to have life everlasting.
Believing in Him gives us eternal life.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

Scientist are always seeking for ways to prolong life.
There's nothing wrong with that.
Everybody wants to live happily with his family for as long as possible.
But God reveals the thought behind it.

“In order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes.”
2 Corinthians 2:11

God sent His Spirit back to mankind again on Pentecostal day.
His breath of life rushed to earth in a wave of His passionate love for us.
It was like a violent wind, flames of His burning love appeared above the heads of His children.
We can be reunited with Gods eternal love that brings us eternal life through His Spirit.

We can bare His image once again and become exact representations of our glorious Father. We can look at each other through His eyes of love.
No need for clowning with clones.

I love you with the heart of the Father. Do you love me too?
If you bare His image you will!

This article has ended, but do not let go of my hand, let's continue this exciting journey together, until He takes us home to be with Him forever!

God bless you always,

Love and kisses, Monique Braam
