Spheres and layers
God is in the Spheres and Layering business. He made the atmosphere that consists of different spheres.
It starts with the Troposphere that mostly contains oxygen and nitrogen that are both essential to life on earth.
In this sphere all weather activities take place also because of the turbulent airflow.
For more on this just look it up on the internet as I have done.
There’s also the Tropopause that is between the Troposphere and the next one the Stratosphere.
This intersection between the two spheres is stable and cool.
The Stratosphere contains an important layer for us earth people; the ozon layer that protects us from the dangerous ultra violet rays of the sun.
It’s temperature development is contrary to the Troposphere. That one starts with warm temperature and ends with colder temperatures at the end of the sphere where it evolves into the Tropopause.
The Stratosphere however starts with a cold temperature and ends in a warm temperature where it then evolves into the Stratopause that is between it and the next sphere.
Are you sphering out of the orbit now? Too much spheres?
Well God made these spheres for a reason and the wonderful part of it all is that He made it all for us, to protect us from what lies beyond the spheres.
Each of them is like a shell of protection to life on earth.
Our bodies the ultimate universe where God wants to abide.
He made the universe with its spheres and even our skin consists of layers that all have a protective function.
The skin protects the inner parts of the body by pushing living skin cells from the inner layers to the outer layer where they die and become a horned layer that protects the body.
The base layer of the skin named the Stratum basale that consist of stem cells is constantly renewing the cells of the skin.
Can you sense what this message is about already?
The spheres and layers are much the same as the Spiritual spheres of our individual spiritual body or life.
When we enter the sphere of life through the accepting of Christ as our Saviour and Lord we enter the spiritual troposphere or Stratum basale where life is renewed by the blood and person of Christ our foundation, the Rock on which we stand.
As the troposphere ( warm to cold) goes over into the next somewhat inversed sphere ( cold to warm) we also enter a whole new world where things seem quite contrary to the one we are used to.
It’s the same as with the working of the protective skin layer. It goes over from a living cell into a dead cell but it’s not the living ones who give protection but the dead cells.
Our greatest enemy is our own character.
“I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed.
But if it dies, it produces many seeds. The man who loves his life will lose it, while the man who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.
Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.” John 12:24-26
So you see when we enter His life through faith in Him and His Blood we step into an inverse spiritual level where to glorify God means to lose our own selfish loveless character and put on His.
When our own character says to hate our enemies God says to love them and pray for them
When our own character wants to save our own skin by hiding our sins from the world, God says to confess our sins and save our spiritual skin or lives.
And the inverted list goes on in saying things so contrary to our own sinful selfish sphere or atmosphere we used to live in without Christ.
But sadly enough many start out well, but when the pressure gets heated up and temperatures rise in the new spiritual stratosphere many become cold as they float back again to where their own troposphere evolved into the new one.
They become somewhat numb as they are back in the lower level of the spiritual Tropopause or even way back in the spiritual Troposphere again.
Or they snuggle back to the spiritual base level of the epidermis where they just want to enjoy life and not die to selfish behaviour.
Wow, so many spheres can spiral us out of control.
Well God is in control of the universe and can be in control of our lives as we surrender it to Him.
