THE LOVE OF JESUS

Dear Jesus

You came to save us but you didn’t have to
You loved us so much even when we did not want you
How can Love so Great
Offer itself for blinded hearts defiled


Why does The  Father’s Heart
even care about the brokenness of a wandering child

Yet You came
taking upon Your shoulders all our guilt and shame
Paid the debt of sin we had to pay
Lord in our hearts forever You came to stay

How can I not love
How can I not be drawn to the very inmost secrecy of Your Existence

You have captured my heart with just one whisper of Your Spirit
curing Creation’s mortality

Coming to Life through the Bread and Wine Divine
I rest in Christ’s serene tranquility


If I searched the Galaxies far and wide
for all ages to come and through ages gone by
Words could not be found to express my love
raging as the wind soft as a sigh


Dear Jesus
You came to us in the darkness of Time
The radiating Radiance of The Light of another kind

Revelation of the Mystery
The Father’s Love for all to see
His Light Divine inside of you inside of me
